July 26 Committee vote and schedule update for 2022 Comprehensive Plan update

On Tuesday, July 26, the King County Council's Local Services and Land Use Committee is scheduled to vote on the 2022 update to the 2016 King County Comprehensive Plan (Proposed Ordinance 2022-0162). The 2022 update includes consideration of the Skyway-West Hill Subarea Plan and North Highline Subarea Plan. The committee meeting will begin at 9:30 a.m., and will be a hybrid meeting. You may participate in person in the Council Chambers on the 10th Floor of the King County Courthouse, at 516 3rd Ave, Seattle, WA, or you may participate via Zoom. For information on how to watch the meeting or provide public comment, please visit the website for the Local Services and Land Use Committee.

This is currently scheduled as item #10 on the committee agenda and will include potential action on:

  • Striking Amendment S1 to Proposed Ordinance 2022-0162.  The striking amendment includes substantive changes to the Executive’s recommended Plan, including to the Skyway-West Hill Subarea Plan and the North Highline Subarea Plan; and
  • Recommendation of the Proposed Ordinance, as amended, to the full Council.
