Thanks to amazing work from community partners, healthcare providers, Public Health staff and the people of King County, our county has one of the highest vaccination rates of any large metro area in the U.S. As vaccination coverage has increased, vaccine demand has diminished, both locally and nationally. This month, we're adjusting operations at some King County community vaccination clinics to better align with demand.

Changing Guidance in Schools: Masks, Tests, and When to Stay Home, WA State Dept. of Health's blog
As we move into the next phase of the pandemic, there have been some big changes in the guidance that schools, early learning and childcare facilities need to follow.
Make sure you and your family get all recommended doses, including a booster when eligible.
Second boosters have been authorized for people:
- Ages 50 and over
- Ages 12 and older who are moderately or severely immunocompromised
- 18 and older who received J&J for their primary and booster doses
If you are eligible, you can get the second booster at least four months after your first booster.
