Weekend Service Impacts

Event Reroutes for Routes 45, 67, 75 and 372; transit service will be rerouted in the University District during the Cherry Blossom 5K Run from Saturday at 6 a.m. to 12 noon;

Event Reroutes for Routes 24 and 31; transit service will be rerouted in Central Magnolia during the Magnolia Little League Parade from Saturday at 8 a.m. to 12 noon;

Temporary Construction Reroute for Route 183; transit service will be affected by directional closures of S 272nd St and S Star Lake Rd from start of service on Saturday to 8 p.m.;

Weekend Construction Reroute for Routes 240 and 271;transit service will be affected by the closure of eastbound NE 8th St between 106th Avenue NE & 108th Avenue NE in Bellevue from start of service on Saturday to Sunday at 6 p.m.;
- Civic event delay; transit service may experience temporary minor delays in downtown Seattle near Westlake Center starting Saturday at 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.;
Service Reminders

Seattle Center Monorail will operate extended hours on Friday, March 25, from 7:30 a.m. - 11:30 and Saturday, March 26, 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 p.m. The Monorail will depart approximately every 10 minutes;

Masks continue to be required on public transportation through April 18, per federal directive. King County Metro continues to provide free masks on all buses;
- We recommend customers arrive at their bus stop a few minutes before the scheduled departure time of their trip;
- Remember, it's free and easy to sign up for email or text alerts about King County Metro service. Alerts can be tailored to your favorite route(s).

Weekend Kickoff
Third Avenue and Pine Street bus stop to temporarily relocate April 2
In partnership with the City of Seattle’s public safety efforts, the northbound bus stop at Third Avenue and Pine Street in downtown Seattle will temporarily close April 2, and bus service will shift one block south, near Third and Pike.
The stop (No. 578) serves Routes 15, 125, and RapidRide C, D and E Lines. Riders for all affected routes will be able to board a bus or exit at the new stop (No. 575), located on Third Avenue just south of Pike Street next to the Ross Dress for Less store (301 Pike St.), until further notice.

Late night trips to return with Water Taxi’s Summer Sailing schedule April 21
The summer schedule begins on April 21 and will run through Oct. 14.
Daytime sailings for the West Seattle Water Taxi currently start at around 6 a.m. weekdays and 8:30 a.m. on the weekends. The summer schedule includes the return of late-night sailings through 11 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. A reminder—there will be no late-night sailings Sundays through Thursdays, including after night sporting events.
Starting on Monday, March 28, all Water Taxi sailings will be met with shuttle service.

Lynnwood Link Connections mobility project
As Link light rail extends to Lynnwood, the Lynnwood Link Connections mobility project will address changing transit needs and improve mobility options for communities in northwest King County and southwest Snohomish County. Metro is collaborating with Sound Transit and Community Transit, among other partners, to coordinate bus routes based on feedback from communities.
