Metro to prioritize safety response and connect customers with resources
As previously shared, a recurring challenge Metro faces is the small but impactful number of incidents where customers do not exit the bus when it has completed its route and is set to return to base. Metro’s approach to these riders continues to be guided by compassion and aims to connect those in need of behavioral, housing, and social support with those opportunities.

Metro celebrated International Women's Day on March 8
Metro believes that women belong in all roles and in all industries, especially in planning for and providing public transit.
To all the women who #BreakTheBias every day at King County Metro and in their own communities, we appreciate you.
Remember, “It’s a great day to ride Metro” to get to events and activities where there is often traffic congestion and limited parking.
