Weekend Service Impacts

• Temporary Service Suspension for route 125; transit service is suspended due to service recovery work on Saturday, Feb. 26;
• Civic event delay; transit service may experience temporary minor delays in downtown Seattle on 4th Ave between City Hall and Seattle Center; starting Saturday afternoon March 5th at 2 p.m.;
• Event reroute for routes 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, 10, 11, 13, 36, 40, 49, 62, 70, 101, 150, ST 545 and ST 550; transit service will be rerouted in downtown Seattle during the Hot Chocolate 15K/5K Run; starting Sunday, March 6 from 4:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.;

Service Reminders

• Seattle Center Monorail will operate extended hours on Saturday, Mar. 5, 8:30 a.m. - 11:30 p.m. The Monorail will depart approximately every 10 minutes;
• We recommend customers arrive at their bus stop a few minutes before the scheduled departure time of their trip;
• Remember, it's free and easy to sign up for email or text alerts about King County Metro service. Alerts can be tailored to your favorite route(s).

New bus lane opened in downtown Seattle

We are celebrating a new northbound bus lane at 3rd Ave and Denny Way!

This new lane, created in partnership with the City of Seattle, is BUS ONLY and improves the speed and reliability for many routes traveling north.

Remember, “It’s a great day to ride Metro” to get to events and activities where there is often traffic congestion and limited parking.
