Transit Alert – Route 165 to the Burien Transit Center will be rerouted off Kent Des Moines Rd between Military Rd S and Pacific Hwy S tonight
King County, Washington sent this bulletin at 02/23/2022 05:54 PM PSTOvernight on Wednesday, February 23, from 10:30 PM until 4:00 AM Thursday morning, Metro Route 165 will be rerouted off of westbound Kent Des Moines Rd between Military Rd S and Pacific Hwy S, due to construction.
During this time, Route 165 heading toward the Burien Transit Center will travel instead via Military Rd S, S 216th St and Pacific Hwy S, and will not serve the stop westbound on Kent Des Moines Rd at the I-5 ramp. Riders may board or exit at the regular stops at the Kent Des Moines Park-and-Ride, or southbound on Pacific Hwy S just south of Kent Des Moines Rd.
Route 165 heading toward Green River College is not affected and will serve all its regular stops.
