 Vets Engaged is seeking new applicants and wants to hear your ideas to help bridge the civilian-military divide. By awarding grants of $10,000 for individuals and organizations to create free community-building events and activities, Vets Engaged seeks to build, strengthen and sustain social networks between veterans and their neighbors.

 The King County Department of Community and Human Services is now accepting applications to fund senior centers in King County. This program aims to stabilize and support senior centers in response to the COVID-19 public health emergency. Funding is provided by the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) and subject to federal restrictions and reporting requirements. Applications are due by February 2, 2022 by 5pm.
A virtual information session to discuss questions related to this funding opportunity will be held on January 4, 2022, 10am - 12pm. Register for the information session.

 King County launched a Request for Qualifications (RFQ) for language access providers interested in working with King County departments to deliver any of the following services:
- Verbal language interpretation
- American Sign Language (ASL) and other sign languages
- Communication Access Real-Time Transcription (CART) captioning
Vendors who receive a contract from this RFQ will be added to a King County-wide roster of approved language access providers.
