Transit Alert – Route 70 will be affected in the South Lake Union area due to closure of Fairview Av N at Thomas St on 10/23

On Saturday, October 23, from 7:00 AM until 1:00 PM, Metro Route 70 will be rerouted in both directions off Fairview Av N in the South Lake Union area, due to construction between Thomas St and Harrison St.

During this time, heading either toward the University District, Route 70 will travel instead via Thomas St, Eastlake Av N, Republican St, Fairview Av N and then on to its regular route, and will miss the stop northbound of Fairview Av N just north of Harrison St.

Heading toward downtown Seattle, Route 70 will be rerouted but will not miss any of its regular stops.

Visit Metro’s Service Advisories page for information about revised bus service, routing and stops for planned construction or events.  When buses are rerouted, reroute start and end times may be subject to change.

Visit Metro’s online regional Puget Sound Trip Planner to plan your travel, and for bus stop, schedule and other information, including predicted times at stops.
