New flowchart/decision tree from the WA Department of Health outlining when students and staff can return to school based on COVID symptoms and exposure. Includes a contact tracing checklist. King County statement on resident who died of rare vaccine-related blood clot, Public Health Insider blog
Public Health has learned of the death of a King County resident from a rare blood clotting syndrome after receiving the J&J COVID-19 vaccine. The individual, a woman in her late 30s, is the first confirmed death in King County from this very rare vaccine complication. CDC has reported only three other confirmed deaths nationally.
COVID-19 testing FAQ update: What kinds of COVID-19 tests are given at King County-operated sites?

Vaccine verification signage for businesses
Establishments and events included in King County's vaccine verification health order are required to display signage at all public entrances available in letter size and poster size. Additional languages will be available by Friday afternoon, Oct. 8th.

Need a COVID-19 test by game day? King County-operated testing sites are experiencing long wait times, and priority testing will be given to those with symptoms or immediate risk for COVID-19. Test results are not guaranteed within 72 hours. Learn more from the three new questions and answers that address the following:
