Booster doses of Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine authorized for certain groups

The FDA has authorized third doses of Pfizer for people who have completed two Pfizer doses at least 6 months ago, and meet certain additional criteria for being at higher risk of COVID-19. More information at kingcounty.gov/covid/vaccine. Beginning 9/25, people can make a booster appointment at Public Health's Kent, Auburn, Downtown Seattle, or Bellevue Eastgate vaccination sites: https://yourcovidvaccine.kingcounty.gov/

Leaders from 15 health care organizations issued a statement in support of requiring proof of full COVID-19 vaccination status or a negative test to enter many outdoor and indoor entertainment and recreational establishments and events. The recently-announced policy will go into effect October 25.
