Dear Ingress Users,
The King County Jail Management System (JMS) will undergo a major update on Saturday, August 7th.
As part of the JMS Go-Live on Saturday, August 7th, some applications hosted on Ingress will be migrating to login.kingcounty.gov (the new King County Login Portal).
Important Info
- All users will be migrated to login.kc prior to the Aug 7th login.kc and JMS Go-live.
-
You will receive an invitation email from Login King County prior to Go-Live with instructions for signing in for the first time.
- Do not delete this email!
- If you can't locate it, check your junk/spam email folder.
- It contains your temporary password, which you will need to sign in for the first time.
- Once you receive your invitation email, we encourage you to sign-in to your KC Login Portal account prior to the Go-Live date to make sure you can access it.
- However, you will NOT have access (through the portal) to the specific applications for which you are authorized until after the Go-Live date.
- Users of Ingress will continue to have access to authorized applications until those applications move on Aug 7th.
- For full details about which applications are affected, please check out: https://ingress.kingcounty.gov/Login/IngressUpdatePDF.pdf
- Training videos for using the KC Login Portal will be provided to Ingress users.
- If you have specific questions about using the KC Login portal, please contact your agency Registrar(s).
Training Videos
The KC Login Team have created training videos that review the main functions of the KC Login Portal that you will likely encounter as a user of the system.
Each video is about 2 minutes long (or less) and demonstrates how to carry out a task, like: signing in for the first time, signing in after the first time, logging into JMS, changing your password, etc.
Click the screenshots of the videos below to be redirected to the training videos webpage.
Regards,
KCIT login.kc Team
