Dunn Attends Protest Against Potential Asphalt Plant Along SR 169
Councilmember Reagan Dunn at the site of a protest against a potential asphalt plant in unincorporated Maple Valley.
Thank you to the organizers of last weekend’s protest against an asphalt plant that King County is considering siting along SR 169. It was great to talk with the concerned citizens that showed up to protest and hear the many honks of support from cars passing by. Keep making your voice heard—no asphalt plant on the Cedar River!

Councilmember Reagan Dunn with Black Diamond Councilmembers Tamie Deady, Debbie Page, and Leih Mulvihill and Black Diamond Mayor Carol Benson
I recently delivered a $25,000 grant as seed funding to re-build a skate park in Black Diamond. I am very glad to help kick off the fundraising effort, which has seen great enthusiasm in the community. I know a new skate park would be a treasured resource, just as the last one was!
