Weekly King County COVID-19 update

Key indicators of COVID-19 activity data dashboard updated on July 7th

This dashboard previously showed the metrics based on the Governor's phases 1-2-3 of reopening. Now that those phases are no longer in use, it is aligned with the CDC indicators of low-moderate-substantial-high incidence of COVID-19 in a community.

This week, we provided answers to the questions below, with answers linked on our COVID-19 FAQ page

  1. Will we need to get a booster dose of COVID-19 vaccine?
  2. Can you get an mRNA vaccine after you get a J&J vaccine? Would it provide additional protection?
  3. Does the COVID-19 vaccine make you magnetic?

What to expect when Washington fully reopens

Starting June 30, the State of Washington is removing most COVID-19 restrictions. This means that most businesses and organizations may choose to operate as they did before the COVID-19 pandemic with no capacity limits or physical distancing requirements.
