COVID 19 Schools & Child Care Task Force Lead - Project/Program Manager IV

The COVID 19 Schools & Child Care Task Force (S/CC) Lead position works as part of Seattle-King County Public Health’s Community Mitigation and Recovery Team (CMR) and leads/manages a cross-functional team. The team includes several community and sectoral task forces focused on sharing mitigation and vaccination strategies with the community, reflecting community concerns with Public Health, and working to reduce the impact of COVID-19 on K-12 and child care sectors. The S/CC Lead is responsible for managing a multidisciplinary team and for the strategic approach to supporting the schools and child care sector during the COVID 19 pandemic.  This includes helping communicate culturally specific information to the wide variety of public and private schools and child cares in King County. This position is also integrated with the Community Health Division, School-Based Partnerships group to ensure long-term sustainability of the task force’s core functions.

This position will last through May 31, 2022, with a possibility of extension.
 
 WHO MAY APPLY: This Term Limited Temporary / Special Duty position is open to all qualified applicants. This is FLSA Exempt and therefore not eligible for overtime.

 Work Schedule This position will work a 40 hour work week and is not overtime eligible.
