Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Tonight I am kicking off the first of four virtual town hall events for residents of unincorporated areas of District 9. All of the details are below so that you can mark your calendars!
If you live in the Fairwood area, please tune in tonight at 6PM to hear updates from King County officials and connect with me about any questions or concerns you may have. Town halls are a great way for me to learn about what matters most to you and your community, so I hope to see you there.

Correction: Council Approves Safe Medicine Return Awareness Campaign
|
|
Legislation that I sponsored passed this week and has established an awareness campaign about King County’s Secure Medicine Return Program. This public awareness campaign is a significant step toward keeping unused medicine off the streets and protecting everyone from drug overdoses, especially during the pandemic.
Resources will include the location of drop boxes across King County as well as the number – 1-844-633-7765 – that any resident of the county can call to request a mail-back envelope.
For more information about the program and to find a location to securely drop off your old medication, visit: https://kingcountysecuremedicinereturn.org/
