Cedar River Trail closed south of Dorre Don Natural Area

Trail closed for bridge repair

King County Parks is closing the Cedar River Trail today March 8 through May 10 for bridge repair. The closure takes place just south of the Dorre Don Natural Area. Parks is replacing the timber “nailers” below the concrete deck panels that have deteriorated causing the panels to drop.

 

Closure on the Cedar River Trail for bridge repair

A crew will be staging material today to construct and install a scaffolding system, pull the panels off the bridge, replace the timber “nailers”, then reattach all of the deck panels prior to the trail being re-opened.
