On February 5th, Health Officer Dr. Jeff Duchin provided updates on trends in COVID-19 cases and shared information on COVID vaccination efforts.


NOTICE: Due to difficulties with our servers hosting our COVID-19 data, some dashboards are current unavailable. We are working to restore them as soon as possible. The main daily data dashboard is working and was updated today.

  • Total positive counts in King County: 78,149
    • New counts since yesterday: 59 at overall 4.6% of all tests

  • Total hospitalizations in King County: 4,890
    • New hospitalizations since yesterday: 25 at 6.3% of all positive cases

  • Total deaths due to COVID-19 illness in King County: 1,299
    • New deaths since yesterday: 6 at 1.7% of all positive cases

  • Total count of all test results: 1,689,480
    • New test results since yesterday: 17,529

  • Total count of people tested in King County: 855,053
    • New count of people tested since yesterday: 10,866
