Dunn meets with Julie Rodriquez, incoming Director of the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs
Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Just this morning, I met with Julie Rodriguez, incoming Director of the White House Office of Intergovernmental Affairs for the Biden administration. During our meeting, I asked her about the incoming administration’s plans to increase production of the COVID-19 vaccine and get it to state and local communities as soon as possible.
Our conversation left me with the strong belief that the incoming administration is working hard in the public interest to answer the need for vaccine access. I made it very clear to Director Rodriguez that I wish them every success as they implement their new strategy.
My view is this: we are stronger together. Our nation must come together in a bi-partisan way to solve the challenges before us. In order to prevent the spread of COVID-19 and get our economy back on track, we must put the well-being of our country over political division.
My prayers are with the Biden administration as they begin this very challenging work tomorrow.
Sincerely,
Reagan Dunn Vice Chair Metropolitan King County Council
