Your Update on What's Happening at the King County Council

Dear Friends and Neighbors,

Today, King County announced that two high-volume vaccination sites will open in South King County to facilitate a faster rollout of the COVID-19 vaccine. The vaccination sites are set to open by February 1st.

I’ve been working hard to make sure that every King County resident has access to a vaccine as soon as possible, including my budget proposal that dedicates funding to push the vaccine out into our communities. I am encouraged to see this much-needed investment that will give every King County resident easy and fast access to a vaccine as soon as we have the supply.

I’m sure many of you have questions about vaccinations in King County. If you haven’t yet, I encourage you to register for my COVID-19 Vaccine Town Hall with Public Health Director Patty Hayes, coming up this Wednesday, January 13th. Find more information on my website.

Stay healthy,
