We created a new provider information hub on our Veterans, Seniors and Human Services Levy (VSHSL) website, to share information with our VSHSL-funded partners. The information hub provides an easily accessible virtual space to share information about trainings for VSHSL-funded partners, levy-funded translation and interpretation services, new partner information and reminders about fiscal and performance measurement and evaluation deadlines.

Every month, through The Hub newsletter, we share funding opportunities, feature VSHSL partners, highlight community resources and provide critical information for our VSHSL-funded partners. To make sure we are sharing information that is valuable to you, please take a few minutes to complete an anonymous newsletter feedback survey. The survey will take less than five minutes to complete and is open until January 4, 2021. We look forward to receiving your feedback. We are happy to have you as part of our VSHSL community.

HealthierHere, funded through VSHSL, is creating a Community Information Exchange (CIE), called the Connect2 Community Network, in partnership with Crisis Connections and WAServes to ensure that all people can access the same opportunities for health and wellbeing.
The Connect2 Community Network has prioritized the ability to send and receive referrals electronically. To do so, HealthierHere, along with their partners, is supporting the launch of the Unite Us technology that enables its users to send “closed-loop referrals”.
To support organizations that are using the Unite Us technology or are interested in doing so, HealthierHere is launching the Connect2 Community Network Catalyst Fund.

The King County Veterans Program (KCVP) Seattle office will be relocating from Belltown to Northgate in January 2021. A relocation to Northgate helps KCVP expand outreach efforts to diverse communities and creates a new service access point for north-end residents.
