Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Leaders from the Washington State Department of Health (DOH) and a researcher from the Institute for Disease Modeling will brief the media tomorrow on a new modeling report on the potential outcomes of in-school COVID-19 testing. The report looks at the impact in-school COVID-19 testing may have on the different approaches to in-person learning, depending on community rates of COVID-19.
The virtual briefing will be held tomorrow, Thursday, November 5th from 11:15 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. and will include:
- Lacy Fehrenbach, MPH, CPH, Deputy Secretary of Health for COVID-19 Response, DOH
- Kathy Lofy, MD, State Health Officer, Washington State Department of Health
- Dan Klein, PhD, Senior Research Manager, Institute for Disease Modeling
The public is welcome to view the briefing. TVW will livestream the briefing here.
