King County and that nation are experiencing another surge in COVID-19 cases. Today’s count of 385 new positive cases represents a new high for our County.

We know what works to slow the spread of the virus and we must keep doing it – keep six feet distance, wash your hands, and wear a mask.

Election Update

Vote

As of Thursday morning, King County Elections reports about 920,000 ballots received, or about 64% turnout, which is incredible. This figure represents almost double the number of ballots we had at this point in 2016.

If you haven’t voted yet, here are some helpful resources:

  • Six additional Vote Centers open (including one at the Bellevue College Gym) this Saturday! Hours will be Saturday, 10:00 am – 4:00 pm, Monday, 8:30am – 6:00pm, and Tuesday, 8:30am – 8:00pm
  • If you still need a ballot you have options. You can get your ballot online and print it off at home, or you can pick one up at a Vote Center (see above). Additionally, you can pre-order one to save time at pick-up!
  • There’s also still time to register, but voters do need to go in person to a Vote Center and King County Elections strongly recommends to not wait until 7pm on Election Night (Tuesday, Nov. 3). Remember, even with all this early voting, there will be lines.

Finally, be sure to track your ballot to make sure it’s been received and counted!
