The Washington State Department of Agriculture (WSDA) will hold a press conference at 2 p.m. today to discuss the finding of an Asian giant hornet nest – the first in the U.S. – in Washington state. WSDA managing entomologist Sven Spichiger will give a statement about agency efforts to locate Asian giant hornets which led to the discovery of the Asian giant hornet nest.
Participation in the press conference is only open to members of the press. Members of the public can watch the press conference afterward on the department’s Facebook and YouTube pages.
