Join me tonight: Upcoming Metro changes in north Seattle – 6 p.m. on Zoom

gate

Join Metro staff, Councilmembers Dembowski and Zahilay and me this evening at 6 p.m. to discuss Metro’s plans for integrating service with the new Sound Transit Link light rail stations opening next year.

Metro and Sound Transit are working to finalize an integrated network of 40 bus routes that will connect with Link light rail at three new stations. The new Seattle stations – U District, Roosevelt and Northgate – will extend the reach of the rail network. The resulting transit network will improve access to opportunities for all, with an extra focus on historically underserved residents.

Areas where changes are proposed include Bothell, Kenmore, Lake Forest Park, North Seattle, Shoreline, and the University District.  We will also discuss how Metro Transit can continue to adapt to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Click here to join the webinar and use the passcode 704265.  You can also join over the phone by calling 253 215 8782  (use webinar ID number 976 1180 7859).

King County Metro is seeking a final round of public feedback on concepts for updating bus service to integrate with three new Sound Transit Link Light rail stations in 2021.  See King County Metro’s North Link Connections Mobility Project page with surveys in several languages.
