Next Week: Fairwood & SE King County CSA Town Halls

I hope residents of Fairwood and SE King County will join me next week for my last two CSA town halls! I'm grateful for the chance to be able to connect with unincorporated residents and have productive conversations on a variety of important issues. 

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this year we're holding our town halls via the Zoom platform. It’s simple to access Zoom meetings with your phone or laptop, so I hope you’ll participate!

It’s always a great honor to crown the winning "King Critter" at the King County Fair! This year, the Fair was sadly cancelled due to the ongoing pandemic, but thankfully we were still able to keep this tradition alive. Many congratulations to our King Critter Apollo the rabbit, and his owner Paige Anderson!

Public Comment Period Open for Cedar Hills Draft EIS

You're invited to review and comment on an environmental review of proposed future development that would add waste disposal capacity at the Cedar Hills Regional Landfill in Maple Valley. 

Earlier this week, King County's Solid Waste Division issued a draft environmental impact statement (EIS) that evaluates three action alternatives, plus a no-action alternative, to develop an area on the southeast portion of the landfill.
