East King County mask distribution event

What: Issaquah Mask Distribution Event

Where: Pickering Barn, 1730 10th Ave NW, Issaquah, WA 98027

When: Tuesday, August 25th from 1-5pm

Eligibility: You must be a King County resident to be eligible to receive masks at this event

Details: This is a drive-through pick-up event. Interested King County residents can enter at the parking lot entrance, drive through to the Amazon Treasure Truck, tell the staff person the number of individuals in their household, and receive 2 cloth reusable masks per household member, up to 6 household members. The maximum number of masks a car can receive is 12.


Request for Applications (RFA): Learning from Community Stories – the Impact of COVID-19

The intention for these funds is to provide an opportunity to both illustrate positive community resilience in response to COVID-19 in Black, Indigenous, people of color (BIPOC) communities as well as work to illuminate where inequities still exist within structures to inform new policies and systems that work to dismantle racism and oppression that leads to inequities.

Eligibility: This announcement is open to not-for-profit organizations, community-based organizations, coalitions, tribes and tribal organizations, or faith-based organizations serving communities in King County.


Case report update

Public Health is reporting the following case numbers since yesterday:

  • 4,384 people have been tested for a total of 343,578 in King County
  • 146 new cases tested positive for a total of 18,824
  • 27 new hospitalizations for a total of 2,182
  • 3 new deaths for a total of 711
