Eastrail construction

Trail construction continues south of I-90

Construction crews continue to make progress toward 2.5 miles of new paved Eastrail south of I-90.

Starting September 1 a new section of trail will close between Newcastle Beach Park and Hazelwood Lane Southeast. No pedestrian detour is available for this closure, a bicycle detour is available via Lake Washington Boulevard and 106th Avenue Southeast. The trail between Ripley Lane and Hazelwood Lane Southeast remains closed for construction.

We greatly appreciate your patience as we work to bring you a wider Eastrail. This work is a joint effort between WSDOT and King County Parks.
