Dear Friends and Neighbors,
Governor Jay Inslee announced today that, starting Tuesday, all businesses in Washington will not be allowed to serve customers who aren’t wearing cloth masks. The decision comes as counties across the state have seen COVID-19 infections rising once more, including in King County. In particular, the rate of transmission has risen significantly in the last month as more people interact with each other.
This alarming increase is a reminder that we must follow Public Health guidelines and continue to wear masks, avoid close contact with others and crowded settings, and wash our hands frequently and for at least 20 seconds. It is up to each of us to do our part and help stop the spread.

If you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact my office. Have a happy and safe Fourth of July weekend.
Sincerely,
