Over a month into 2020, big issues are already under discussion at the King County Council.
Some of the top issues include:
- Addressing homelessness with a unified strategy,
- maintaining and expanding equitable transit options,
- addressing regional housing affordability,
- maintaining and improving Harborview Medical Center, and
- adopting the two-year King County budget.
In 2020, the King County Council will continue to work with our partners throughout King County and the Puget Sound to build solutions together. As Chair of the Council this year, I am committed to regional collaboration, quality government services for our residents and fiscal stewardship.
