Transit Alert Update - Some bus routes in Metro's East King County snow area are returning to regular service

Some bus routes in Metro's East King County snow area are returning to regular service.

Even though they are resuming their regular routing, they may still be delayed due to road and traffic conditions.

Routes that continue to be listed in the snow Service Advisories table remain on their snow routes until further notice.

Bus routes returning to regular routing are: Metro routes 212, 232, 235, 236, 238, 240, 241, 243, 246, 249, 252, 255, 257 and 277, and Sound Transit routes 542, 545 and 550, and Custom Bus routes 824, 888, 889, 891, 894, 895 and 981.

It is not possible to know when a bus will arrive at a specific location, or to provide service updates at the individual trip or stop level.

Use regularly published timetables as a guide, check Metro’s snow route advisories table for route updates, be aware of conditions in your area and be prepared for delays.

Transit customers are advised to wait for buses at posted bus stops on flat portions of cleared arterials or at major transfer points, such as park-and-ride lots and transit centers where there may be multiple service options.
