Funding for Critical Repairs to Enumclaw VFW Hall

I recently visited VFW Post 1949 to present a $7,500 check to help them make critical repairs to their hall. The Enumclaw VFW Hall hosts many events for groups across the Enumclaw area, and I’m glad to deliver funding to maintain it so that it can be enjoyed by the whole community!

WaterWorks Grant for Renton Affordable Housing Project

Each year, the King County Council allocates funding for clean water projects through the county’s WaterWorks Grant Program. I am pleased to be able to deliver a grant of $180,000 to the Homestead Community Land Trust so they can add stormwater management to the Willowcrest Townhomes in the Sunset Area of Renton. This money will help build townhomes that are not only affordable, but also help protect clean water in the region.
