December 3 Briefing on 2020 Comprehensive Plan Update and Schedule Update
On Tuesday, December 3, the King County Council's Mobility and Environment Committee will receive a briefing on the Executive's proposed 2020 update to the King County Comprehensive Plan (Proposed Ordinance 2019-0413). The committee meeting is scheduled to begin at 1:00 p.m. in the Council Chambers on the 10th Floor of the King County Courthouse, at 516 3rd Ave, Seattle, WA. If you are not able to attend the meeting in person, it can be viewed live on KCTV cable channel 22 or online.
This legislation is listed as item #8 on the committee agenda. A written staff report for the briefing will be posted to the Council's Comprehensive Plan website prior to the committee meeting. At this committee briefing, Council staff will review the "key issues" identified with the proposed amendments in the 2020 Update, which could include new policy choices for the Council to consider, inconsistency with other adopted policies, or areas where the Council may wish to direct further work.
