On Friday, November 29, transit service that operates through downtown Seattle along 4th Avenue and near Westlake Center will be rerouted, or delayed due to street closures and traffic associated with the Macy’s Holiday Parade in the morning, and during the Westlake Tree Lighting in the evening.

Metro routes 10, 11, 41, 47, 49, 111, 114, 143, 157, 158, 159, 177, 178, 179, 190, 192, 212, 214, 216, 217, 218, 219, 252, 255, 257, 268, 311 and Sound Transit Express routes 522, 545, 550 and 554 will be directly affected by these events. It is expected that most other transit service in the downtown Seattle area will experience schedule delays due to crowds and traffic.
