Transit Alert – Transit service will be rerouted off of the eastbound I-90 Bridge; buses will travel instead via I-5, SR 520, I-405 & I-90 on Fri PM

On Friday, September 27, from 10:00 PM until the end of service, eastbound Sound Transit Express Routes 550 and 554 will be rerouted off the eastbound I-90 Bridge due to construction.

ST routes 550 to Bellevue and 554 to Issaquah will travel instead via I-5, SR 520, I-405 and I-90.  ST 550 will serve all its usual stops while on this revised routing. ST 554 will not serve the stop on southbound Rainier Av S just south of S Charles St.

During this time, customers who normally board route ST 554 to Issaquah at this stop, can ride Route 106 northbound on Rainier Av S to the stop on S Jackson St just west of Maynard Av S in the International District. To continue to the Eastside, cross S Jackson St and transfer to ST 554 at the stop on eastbound S Jackson St just east of S Maynard St.

Customers who normally ride ST 554 to the stop on southbound Rainier Av S at S Charles St can ride Route 7 or 106 instead from the stop eastbound on S Jackson St just east of 5th Av S.

At all other times, ST routes 550 and 554 will operate via their regular routes and stops.
