Attend the August 12 open house at Bellevue Library, or comment on the draft plan today!

Did you know that there’s a place where the leaders of King, Kitsap, Pierce and Snohomish counties get together to plan for the future of growth, transportation and economic development?

It’s called the Puget Sound Regional Council (PSRC) and right now PSRC is seeking your thoughts and opinions about its draft plan – called VISION 2050 – for how and where the region's growth will occur. VISION 2050 will help guide how growth supports thriving communities, a strong economy and a healthy environment across the four-county Puget Sound region.

PSRC is hosting several open houses to get input on VISION 2050. On Monday, August 12 PSRC will be at the Bellevue Library (1111 110th Avenue NE, Bellevue, WA 98004). Each open house includes two sessions. Attend one or both of the following:

  • A facilitated workshop (3:00-5:00 pm), which includes a brief overview of VISION 2050, as well as small group conversations on specific policy areas.
  • An evening drop-in open house (5:30-7:00pm) allows participants to hear a brief presentation, and to discuss the draft plan with PSRC staff.

Learn more about VISION 2050 and opportunities for providing input (including commenting online) at the PSRC get involved page.

Until next time,
