Disability Services Consultant

The Disability Services Section within the Department of Human Resources (DHR) Employee Health & Safety Division, is seeking a caring, thoughtful, and motivated professional for a Disability Services Consultant position.

The individual selected for this position will work under the direction of the Disability Services Manager, the Disability Services Consultant will collaborate with management, human resources, and employees to facilitate the reassignment job placement and return-to-work efforts for employees with temporary or permanent disabilities. This person will be relied on to effectively balance promoting employee interests along with King County Departmental operational needs. This position will also provide specialized assistance to the Disability Services, Leaves, and Supported Employment teams as well as King County management, employees and stakeholders regarding disability related matters, leave administration, and supported employment.
