Join Executive Dow Constantine, King County Councilmember Dave Upthegrove, DNRP Director Christie True, and partners as we break ground on this exciting trail!.
Date: Wednesday, May 15, 2019 Ceremony: 2:30 p.m. (expected to last 30 minutes) Address: 14800 Starfire Way, Seattle, WA 98188 Parking: Park at Starfire/Fort Dent Park (see below for closest lot). Follow signs to walk to event site along the Green River Trail (approx. 5 mins).
On its completion, the Lake to Sound Trail will connect the Cedar River Trail at the south end of Lake Washington to the Des Moines Creek Trail on the shores of the Puget Sound.
Segment A runs along the north side of Renton’s Black River Riparian Area and Forest, crosses over the Black River, and meets up with the Green River Trail north of Fort Dent Park.
