King County Metro

King County Metro has issued a Request for Proposals for a Transit Mobility Framework and Regional Planning Consultant.  Competence and experience in the field of equity and social justice (ESJ), including conducting meaningful equity impact analysis of existing and future services, programs, and investments is among the areas of experience the County will consider in evaluating the Prime Consultant.  Proposals are due March 21, 2019, 2:00 p.m. PT.  The full Request for Proposals can be found using King County's Procurement Portal.

Voter Education Fund

The Voter Education Fund, a partnership between King County and the Seattle Foundation, provides grants to organizations that work to reduce inequities in voting access in historically marginalized communities.  Community-based organizations can apply for up to $40,000 to develop a two-year campaign or up to $15,000 to provide a series of smaller activities that improve voter access.  Proposals are due April 1, 2019 and information sessions will be held March 13 and 25.  Details and links to the applications can be found on the Voter Education Fund Page.
