The Eastway? The 425? The Eastrail? The E? What should the new name be for the Eastside Rail Corridor?

Fill out the survey before this Friday, January 18!

Have you taken a walk or biked along the Eastside Rail Corridor lately? If so, you’ll see real progress is underway to build out the 42-mile multiuse corridor that will include trail, transportation, parks and more. New segments just opened in 2018: the stretch from the South Kirkland Park & Ride and the Spring District in Bellevue, and the section from Newcastle Beach Park to Gene Coulon Park in Renton.

South segment

Now, it’s time for a new name for the whole corridor (Don’t worry, the Cross Kirkland Corridor and Redmond Central Connector segments won’t change their names – only the overall Eastside Rail Corridor is being renamed).

Please take a few minutes to complete the King County Parks survey before this Friday, January 18 and help us select a great name for the future of the corridor.

Until next time,

Claudia Balducci
