Disability Services Analyst (HR Analyst)

Position Summary
This position is part of King County Metro's Employee Services Division, and is one of three professional staff coordinating medical leave and disability services for the Department, which has over 5,200 employees.  This position ensures compliance with all applicable State and Federal disability laws, state leave laws, collective bargaining agreements, and court decisions, and advises management of their responsibilities and employees of their rights under Federal and State laws as well as King County policies and regulations. This position may also provide expert testimony in medical separation arbitration hearings.

Work Schedule
The work week is normally 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday; alternative work schedules may be possible.  This non-exempt position is overtime eligible with prior supervisor approval and is subject to the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
