Education Specialist - Needle Exchange Program
King County, Washington sent this bulletin at 10/08/2018 04:45 PM PDTThis career service position reports to the Drug User Health Manager in the Public Health – Seattle & King County Needle Exchange Program. The Needle Exchange Program provides syringe exchange, Naloxone distribution and health education and disease prevention information to persons who inject drugs. This position works with a multi-disciplinary team that is responsible for daily operation of needle exchange services at two fixed sites as well as van-based delivery services.

Work Locations: This position is based at the downtown Robert Clewis Center but the Education Specialist will also be scheduled at our Capitol Hill and mobile locations.
Work Schedule: This position is subject to the Fair Labor Standards Act and is overtime eligible. It requires evening shifts as well as occasional weekend and holiday coverage.
