Thank you to everyone who responded to yesterday’s Budget Town Hall
notification asking about other options for commenting on the proposed King
County budget.
In addition to tonight’s Town Hall meeting (6:30pm at Chief Kanim
Middle School, 32627 Redmond-Fall City Road SE, Fall City, WA 98024), you can
share your thoughts and priorities on the Council’s budget page. You
can also review budget details there and see what other community members are
saying. While there is no current deadline for submitting your comments, I
would encourage you to do so by November 2nd to ensure the Council
has time to review them before voting.
The Budget and Fiscal Management Committee will meet regularly over the
next several weeks to review the budget. These meetings will be held in Council
Chambers on the 10th floor of the King County Courthouse (516 Third
Avenue, Seattle 98104) and four of them will have an opportunity for public comment:
- Tuesday, October 9, 9:30am
- Wednesday, October 10, 9:30am
- Tuesday, October 30, 9:30am
- Friday, November 9, 9:30am
All meetings will be open to the public and will be broadcast on King
County TV, which you can find online
