King County Council member Claudia Balducci

Last week, the King County Council received Executive Constantine’s budget proposal. Over the next several weeks, we will be reviewing and analyzing the budget, as well as considering potential adjustments. We anticipate passing the budget before Thanksgiving.

King County’s two-year budget funds programs and services like public safety, Metro transit, public health, parks, voting and elections, and more. The 2019-2020 budget is about $11.6 billion.
