Sammamish Basin: Willowmoor Floodplain Restoration Project
King County, as the service provider to the King County Flood Control
District, has initiated preliminary design of the Willowmoor
Floodplain Restoration Project in the Sammamish Basin.
The County recently hired a consultant to provide support for conducting
studies and developing the project design. The plan is to complete a draft 30
percent design by March 2019; the design will then go before the
Flood Control District to determine next steps. Development of the 30 percent
design will also consider possible upgrades to park amenities.
Join the conversation! Willowmoor recreation workshop on Oct. 4
The Willowmoor Floodplain Restoration Project Team would like to invite your participation in an upcoming Willowmoor recreation workshop. The purpose of this one-time workshop is to gather broad public input from Marymoor Park users on possible upgrades to park amenities and recreation elements within the project area which will be considered during the project design phase.
