Too many of our neighbors across King County are struggling
to find or keep a safe and affordable place to call home That’s why I helped to
establish and co-chair the Regional Affordable Housing Task Force with other
elected officials from around the county.
Over the last year, the Task Force has discussed the housing
crisis and how we can work together as a region to solve this regional problem.
We have draft recommendations that we think will make a
meaningful difference toward meeting the projected need to build, preserve, or
subsidize 244,000 net new homes countywide by 2040. Now we need your input.
