Free Summer Meals for Kids

School’s out for the summer! But you can still get school lunch all summer long. Free summer meals for kids and teens are provided through school districts in South King County. More information on summer lunch and breakfast can be found below:


Transit Advisory Committee

Are you interested in helping shape transportation services in King County? Apply to join Metro’s Transit Advisory Commission, a diverse group of community members who advise the King County Council and Executive on transit policy.

Family Separation 

In mid-June, local community members and religious leaders gathered in an overflow crowd at the Normandy Park Congregational Church for an interfaith vigil where we lifted the voices of opposition to the President's family separation policies.

I had the opportunity to share King County Council’s unanimous action calling for an end to the practice of separating children from their families.
