April 3 briefing on 2018 Comprehensive Plan Update
On Tuesday, April 3, the King
County Council's Planning,
Rural Service and Environment Committee will receive a briefing on the
Executive's proposed 2018 update
to the 2016 King County Comprehensive Plan and the related proposal to
restructure the County’s comprehensive planning and subarea planning program (Proposed
Ordinance 2018-0153 and Proposed Motion 2018-0154). The committee meeting is scheduled to begin at 9:30 a.m. in the Council
Chambers on the 10th Floor of the King County Courthouse, at 516 3rd Ave,
Seattle, WA. If you
are not able to attend the meeting in person, it can be viewed live on KCTV
cable channel 22 or online.
These two
pieces of legislation are listed as items #6 and 7 on the committee agenda,
and the briefing will address both items at the same time. A written staff report for the briefing will
be posted to the Council's Comprehensive Plan website
prior to the committee meeting.
There will be an
opportunity for public comment on the proposed plan update and program
restructure during the committee meeting.
