SUMMARY
 
King County's Business Resource Center (BRC) is searching for a Functional Analyst to join our fast-paced and highly successful PeopleSoft HR team!  The PeopleSoft HR team provides support, maintenance and enhancement to King County's PeopleSoft Human Resource module.
 
The Functional Analyst will lead work to align PeopleSoft data, configurations and business processes to comply with King County's labor contract requirements. In order to implement assigned projects, the Analyst will create project artifacts which include specification documents, data files and test plans.
 
The Analyst will work closely with other functional analysts and technical staff to plan and execute projects and to ensure knowledge sharing.
 
SCOPE OF JOB DUTIESSuccessful candidate for the position will be able to demonstrate skill and ability, at a minimum, to:
  • Provide system and user support related to PeopleSoft HR and King County business processes;
  • Create specifications to support labor contract projects, including developing processes, data files and project documents;
  • Lead and facilitate groups to define business requirements and identify system and business impacts. Design solutions for application modifications, interfaces and reports;
  • Conduct functional and user acceptance testing according to standard best practice methodologies;
  • Make configurations and data changes to the PeopleSoft HR tables;
  • Identify root cause and design approach to address and correct issues.
