Disability Services Coordinator (Senior HR Analyst)

Position Summary
This position is part of the Transit Division's Human Resources unit, and is one of three professional staff coordinating medical leave and disability services for the Division, which has over 4,400 employees.  This position ensures compliance with all applicable State and Federal disability laws, state leave laws, collective bargaining agreements, and court decisions, and advises management of their responsibilities and employees of their rights under Federal and State laws as well as King County policies and regulations. This position will also provide expert testimony in medical separation arbitration hearings.

Work Schedule
The work week is normally 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday; alternative work schedules may be possible.  This position is exempt from the provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act, and therefore is not eligible for overtime pay.
