Hear from your county elected officials, ask questions of county departments, and learn more about grant opportunities for your community.

|
There are two more opportunities to participate in a town hall style meeting. I would encourage residents who live outside of cities to attend. The purpose of the meeting is to hear from you and
answer any questions you might have about King County services. Even if you don't have questions, the King County Community Service Area program can provide you information about how your community can apply for next year's grant program.
If you have questions about any of the upcoming meetings please contact my office at Reagan.Dunn@kingcounty.gov or by calling 206-477-1009.

2017 Police Week- May 14-20
There are approximately 900,000 law enforcement officers currently in
the U.S. 4,000 those men and women serve King County's 39
cities, three Tribal Governments, the University of Washington, and
nearly 250,000 residents living in unincorporated communities.
Sheriff
John Urquhart and I
invite King County residents to join in recognizing National Police Week, a memorial to the law enforcement officers who have made the ultimate sacrifice while
protecting others in the line of duty. Sheriff Urquhart will be attending the National Police Week
events in Washington D.C. and will be present as two King County Sheriff Deputies are honored.
The names of Deputy John Frederick Mines, who died July 19, 1946 and Deputy George H.
Yeaman, Jr, who died July 22, 1946 will be added to the walls of the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial in Washington. Their names will be added to the King County
Sheriff’s Memorial at a later date.
